ABOUT
BVE Labs is named after my parents, as an homage to the two people who shaped how I see the world.
My father was a nuclear engineer who built SCADA systems for wastewater treatment plants. In the late 1980s, before most people had email, he predicted how the internet would connect everything. He taught me to see systems, not just code. To solve real problems that matter, not just build features. To think in decades, not quarters.
I loved computers and science, but I thought I'd follow a slightly different path in medicine. I wanted to go into medicine & biology research to help saving lives directly. But a medical condition changed those plans. I realized I'd never make it through medical school.
So I reframed the mission: improve lives through engineering. I'd build the systems that help health tech do their work.
That's how I ended up in healthcare engineering. Over the past 10+ years as an engineer working in multiple domains, I've built HIPAA-compliant platforms processing billions of patient records for Fortune 500 companies. I've led teams through impossible deadlines, saved million-dollar launches, and architected systems that still run today.
In 2025, I started BVE Labs, which I named after my parents, to carry forward what my father taught me: build systems that matter, solve problems that improve lives, and never stop learning.
Today, I do two things:
I build products at BVE Labs focusing on autonomous scheduling for healthcare, documentation and compliance for FinTech, energy, and wellness platforms that work.
I love to partner with companies building within health, education, and compliance, because my consulting work funds R&D, validates product insights, and keeps me sharp on real-world challenges.
It's all one integrated mission: use technology to solve problems that improve lives.
